In the quiet village of Dhanore, on the outskirts of Pune, 13-year-old Rohan, a Grade 7 student at a government school, has always been eager to learn. His father works at a construction site. His mother cooks for local families. Despite their modest means, both parents have always supported Rohan’s curiosity and interest in education.
But in school, learning wasn’t always smooth or connected.
“Sometimes, I didn’t know what to do,” Rohan shares. “I wanted to learn—but I didn’t have the confidence to ask doubts. And sometimes, I would feel very confused about the topic taught in class.”

SwiftSchool empowers students like Rohan to access personalised learning—at school and at home.
Like many students in under-resourced schools, Rohan didn’t have the tools to support and guide his learning journey. With limited support and personalised attention, topics felt difficult, and classes often moved ahead before he could fully understand them.
When UBS Vidyarthi Program introduced the SwiftPAL lab in Rohan’s school, Rohan started becoming more confident, more curious, and more in control of his own learning.
SwiftPAL is a personalised adaptive learning platform that meets every student where they are—not where textbooks and group classes assume them to be. It diagnoses a student’s current learning level and then tailors lessons accordingly, using AI-powered pathways across subjects like Math, Science, and more. Students like Rohan can watch explainer videos, take regular quizzes, and track their scores—all at their own pace. It’s adaptive, responsive, and supportive of different learning journeys, especially in classrooms where group instruction can’t meet everyone’s needs.
“At first, I didn’t understand how to use SwiftPAL,” Rohan shares. “But Dada explained it to us slowly. I enjoy learning in the SwiftPAL class. I can now watch videos, take quizzes, and even check my scores. It feels very good when I get full marks after trying again and again.”
Each SwiftPAL lab is supported by a trained Learning Facilitator (Dada) who regularly visits schools to assist teachers and guide students in using the platform. For students like Rohan, this support bridges the digital and emotional gap—building trust and independence.
Rohan now especially enjoys Science and Math. He revisits topics, solves problems repeatedly, and keeps going even when a lesson feels tough.
“Even if I don’t understand something the first time, I don’t give up now.”
His Dada also introduced him to SwiftChat—a mobile app that helps him continue learning at home.
“I practice my lessons, listen to interesting stories, and when I have a doubt, I ask in the chat and get help. It feels like my teacher is always there with me—even at home.”
Today, students like Rohan have access to quality edtech—tools that were once out of reach. SwiftPAL is helping democratize personalised and adaptive learning, meeting each child at their individual learning level and supporting deep, conceptual understanding across subjects. Meanwhile, SwiftChat, available on any smartphone, is making home-based learning possible for millions of students, even in households with limited resources. When students like Rohan feel seen, supported, and confident, the future of learning begins to shift for everyone.
Thanks to the UBS Vidyarthi Program and SwiftSchool by ConveGenius.AI, for introducing powerful, accessible digital learning tools—and transforming Rohan’s journey from confusion to confidence.
