Tripura has officially launched Shikshak Shakti (শিক্ষক শক্তি), a historic initiative that celebrates and amplifies "the power of teachers" across the state. This programme, introduced by the Department of Education under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Education Minister, marks a powerful step toward stronger classrooms and a brighter future for all students.

At the core of Tripura’s strength are its 29,000 teachers, whose dedication and energy form the backbone of the state's academic progress. Shikshak Shakti is designed to provide these educators with continuous professional development and the modern skills necessary to understand and support every learner’s unique needs. The initiative has already demonstrated incredible momentum, achieving a 94% participation rate in its initial synchronous training assessments.

To ensure teachers can lead with confidence, the state’s new brand for professional development has already delivered over 1,800 new academic resources. By integrating Tripura’s data systems, digital platforms, and academic expertise into one robust framework, the initiative allows educators to analyse learning with clarity and make informed academic decisions using the state’s rich resources.
